My husband and I live in a typical east end semi and this past summer we interviewed with different contractors to build a new back deck, we knew we... wanted to go with composite material as we wanted something that would last a long time and that was low maintenance. After meeting with 5 different companies, we decided to hire GTA decks. When Serge came to see the site, he was professional, informative and efficient. He answered all of our questions and addressed all of our concerns with ease and confidence.He did warn us that the permit process may take a few weeks which it did but once the permit was approved, Jason from Serge's team was quick to start the project and got it done within 2 weeks. He was friendly, professional and very skilled! Serge also let us know the aluminum railings would take a while to come in but once it did, his team was ready to install them immediately.Overall, Serge was very helpful and he definitely knows what he's talking about when it comes to decks. We did have to follow up a few times regarding scheduling and timing, however Serge was on top of it and made sure everything was transparent. We would highly recommend GTA decks, we enjoyed working with them and most importantly we love our new deck!read more

With so many deck builders out there, we finally settled with GTA Decks, as Serge provided professional service throughout and the deck was completed... with care. We have a walkout basement so the deck is 9ft off the ground, Serge took care of applying for a permit etc. With the pandemic, the city took a while to process the papers, however, drawings had to be revised and re-submitted to include a staircase to the garden for obvious reasons as this was not in our initial plan. But once it was all approved, Serge and his team completed the project. We are looking forward to enjoying our deck this summer. GTA Decks is top quality and you will not be disappointed.read more

I’ve always wanted to have a rooftop deck and finally decided to invest. I contacted them, and their project estimator showed up next day, within few... days my rooftop deck was designed by their professional team. Serge was working with getting all necessary permits for a new deck construction. All materials were hoist up using crane. The team build a 850 sq.ft rooftop deck using IPE tiles with pedestals system in just 4 days. Big thanks to Serge and his professional crew for making this dream project come true. We are happy with our new PVC Wolf Decking installation. Serge did an excellent job on preparing 3D drawings and getting all necessary city... architectural and building permits designed/approved. The GTA Decks crew arrived 4 days before the job was scheduled and they finished as promised. All carpenters worked meticulously and very detailed. Serge made us feel at ease during the entire process of deck building process and ensured that every detail of our deck was executed to perfection. After the deck project was completed and final inspection passed by the city. All of our family members inspected the job and we were very pleased that there were no deficiencies with the quality and the product.
